Dr. Noah Berlow co-founded First Ascent Biomedical, where he designed and validated the company’s AI framework and serves as lead author on all AI validation studies.
He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics, a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University under Dr. Ranadip Pal, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in bioinformatics and molecular biology as a Scott Carter Fellow in the Keller laboratory.
Dr. Berlow’s doctoral research focused on computational and experimental predictions of effective two-drug combinations for patients with refractory solid tumors, work he continues today as an Assistant Member at the Children’s Cancer Therapy Development Institute (cc-TDI). He also serves as cc-TDI’s information security officer and has been a cornerstone scientist of its Engineering Forward initiative. Dr. Berlow is the author of 30 peer-reviewed publications.
Because his research at cc-TDI and his work at First Ascent Biomedical share a common mission, both organizations oversee that overlap through a formal conflict of interest management committee, ensuring the same rigor he brings to the science guides how the two roles work together.
