Dylan Anderson serves as Chief Financial Officer of First Ascent Biomedical. As a childhood cancer survivor, he brings a rare vantage point to the work, having lived on the other side of the diagnosis this company was built to change, and he leads with 20 years of experience as a seasoned financial and operational executive.
He advises companies and organizations across the venture-backed and private equity landscape, and has led strategic functional areas for numerous fast-growing, venture-backed companies, including serving as CFO of Airship, Max-Viz, PayRange, Chirpify, and Strands. Across both public and private settings, Dylan has helped drive more than $147M in venture funding rounds at all stages, led multiple mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and completed two successful exits.
He holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of Oregon, and lives with his wife and their triplet teenage daughters.
